Richard Cofer is a developing-level driver racing in NASA, a multiclass national championship mixing amateur through professional competitors in a single-race format. He drives a spec BMW E30 in the Spec E30 class and has been active since 2010.[1]
Over 15 seasons, Cofer has made 85 starts in NASA and taken two podiums. He finished 47th in the championship standings in 2025 after two rounds raced. His record places him in the mid-to-lower portion of his regular field; he typically finishes behind semi-professional competitors such as Robert Grace and club-level drivers including Carter Hunt, both of whom he meets regularly. He has finished ahead of entry-level professionals Evan Levine four times and Lance Bergstein, an FIA Bronze-graded driver who has raced IMSA Pilot Challenge and GT4 America, on one occasion.[2]
