Robert Boudreaux raced in NASA, a national multiclass sprint series in which fifteen classes compete together on road and street courses across the United States. He drove pony cars in the CMC and CMC2 classes and also raced a spec Mazda MX-5 in the Spec Miata Challenge class. His racing career spanned six seasons from 2006 to 2011.[1]
Across 31 starts in NASA, Boudreaux took one podium finish. He finished 52nd in the championship standings in 2011, his final season. He typically finished behind his regular opponents Michael Mosty and James Proctor, both club-level drivers with considerably more NASA experience; however, he beat Mosty on five occasions and also finished ahead of Corey Rueth, a competitive amateur with 63 NASA starts, three times.[2]
