Taylor Cason is a developing driver who raced in NASA's multiclass championship in 2022, piloting a Spec Miata Mazda for Miata Mazda. The series fields amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same races across fifteen classes.[1]
Cason completed a full season of 24 starts in Spec Miata in 2022 and finished 124th in the championship standings. The driver occasionally finished ahead of entry-level professionals including Reinhold Krahn, a FIA Bronze driver with experience in Le Mans Cup and SCCA competition, and Wyatt Couch, who went on to accumulate over a hundred NASA starts. Most often, however, Cason finished behind the regulars in the field, including Couch and Adam Freire, a semi-professional who raced nearly a hundred NASA rounds.[2]
