Rudy Junco made a single World Endurance Championship appearance in 2013, driving a prototype for Delta-ADR at a round that year. His one classified finish placed him 36th; across his recorded racing career, which consisted of this single start, he averaged a finishing position of fourth in the races where he was classified. His Racer Rating of 2,701 places him well below the professional and semi-professional threshold that characterises endurance racing at the top level.[1]
On that one outing in a field of professional drivers, Junco finished ahead of several notable competitors, including Bertrand Baguette, a Platinum-graded driver and two-time champion; Chris Dyson, a four-time champion; and both James Rossiter and Olivier Pla, both Platinum-graded professionals. These results, however, came from a single race and do not constitute a pattern of competitive performance. Delta-ADR, the team fielding Junco that day, had a record of three wins across its racing history and counted former Grand Prix driver Antonio Pizzonia among the strongest drivers it has fielded.
Junco's racing record remains limited to that 2013 World Endurance Championship start. He is now retired from competition.
