Pierre Perret is a professional driver whose only indexed racing came in the 2015 World Endurance Championship, where he competed in the LMP2 prototype class for Ibanez Racing. He shared the car with teammates in the multiclass endurance format, racing against a field that mixed amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same races.[1]
Perret made a single start in the WEC LMP2 championship in 2015 and finished twenty-fourth in the points standings for the season. His only outing came in a field that included established professionals; he finished ahead of Ho-Pin Tung, a Gold-graded driver and later 2018 WEC LMP2 champion, and Mikhail Aleshin, a Platinum-graded professional with extensive single-seater and IndyCar experience.[2]
