Scott Lang was a club-level driver racing in national multiclass sprint championships in the United States. He competed in BMW CCA Club Racing from 2004 to 2009, driving BMWs in the DM and IP classes, before moving to NASA in 2009 for a final season with Bimmerworld / Bullet Performance, racing a German car in the GTS3 class.[1]
Across 17 starts over six years, Lang took six wins and eleven podiums. In BMW CCA Club Racing he recorded four wins and eight podiums from twelve starts. His move to NASA in 2009 brought two wins and three podiums from five rounds, finishing twelfth in the championship standings for the season.[2]
Lang raced regularly against Vic Pizzino, a fellow club driver with extensive experience in both series, and typically finished ahead of Julie Wolf, a competitive amateur who shared his BMW CCA Club Racing calendar.
