Sebastian Glaser is a semi-professional endurance racing driver. He raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass championship run at the Nürburgring in which amateur and professional drivers share cars across fifteen classes. Over five seasons from 2013 to 2017, Glaser made twelve starts in the SP 6, SP 7 and SP 8 production-car classes, taking two wins and four podiums.[1]
His record places him in the middle order of a field that includes entry-level and established professionals. Glaser finished behind regular opponents Andreas Ziegler, a Bronze-graded entry-level professional with 68 starts in the series, and Manuel Metzger, a Silver-graded professional and two-time series champion in his class. He beat the professional driver Vincent Kolb twice and took a single victory over David Schiwietz, another professional competitor. His final season in 2017 yielded one win and one podium from the races he entered, placing him eleventh in the championship standings.[2]
