🇨🇭 Manuel Metzger

Manuel Metzger is a professional endurance racing driver rated at 4,725, competing in multiclass GT and production-car racing across three championships based at the Nürburgring. Graded FIA Silver, he races primarily for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass series shared by amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers. He competes in multiple classes across the two championships, running Porsche GT3 Cup and GT4 machinery, and has been active in these series since 2010.[1]

Metzger has won 30 races across 91 starts, with 57 podiums. In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, his main arena, he holds 29 wins and 54 podiums from 79 starts, including championships in 2011 and 2014 with BLACK FALCON. He has contested the 24H Series since 2017, taking one win and a single podium across seven starts in GT3 machinery, and has appeared five times in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, taking two podiums most recently in 2025.[2]

He competes in fields mixing graded professionals and amateurs within the same race. His most regular opponent is Frank Stippler, a Platinum-graded professional and former series champion, against whom Metzger remains closely matched. He typically finishes ahead of Andreas Ziegler, a Bronze-graded semi-professional. Across his career Metzger has finished ahead of significantly stronger drivers including Edoardo Mortara, the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series champion and Formula E professional with 91 starts in that series, whom he has beaten three times, and António Félix da Costa, the 2019 Formula E and 2022 WEC LMP2 champion, beaten twice.
