Stefan Wilson is a British racing driver who competed across open-wheel and sports car categories over nine seasons from 2010 to 2022 before retiring. Rated at 4,755, he sits in the upper-middle tier of professional racing, a level borne out by his record against a mix of Gold-graded professionals and occasional outings against champions. His career's strongest period came in Indy NXT between 2010 and 2012, where he accumulated two wins and five podiums across 24 starts for Andretti Autosport, finishing at an average of P9.5 across all his racing. He was graded FIA Silver, the professional classification for sportscar drivers who are typically young or early in their career.[1]

Wilson's move into single-seater racing at the IndyCar level proved less productive. He made five IndyCar starts without reaching the podium, and his longer spell in IMSA endurance racing from 2017 to 2022 yielded only one podium finish from five entries with Team Hardpoint. His head-to-head record against front-running professionals was mixed; he regularly finished behind Gold-graded drivers such as Charlie Kimball and James Hinchcliffe, and more decisively behind Josef Newgarden, a three-time champion ranked substantially higher, whom he beat only five times in seventeen shared races.
