Keita Sawa is a professional-level sportscar and endurance racing driver with a Racer Rating of 4,475, placing him in the professional band; this rating reflects a driver competing regularly at the sharp end of strong fields in sportscar racing, typically finishing in the top ten. Sawa holds the FIA Silver grading, which denotes a professional-level driver in GT and endurance racing, usually early in a career or still developing at the highest level. His record spans two major series over seventeen years, with concentrated activity in the World Endurance Championship from 2016 to 2018, where he scored one win and six podiums across fifteen starts for Clearwater Racing. In Super GT, a series he has raced in sporadically since 2008, he has seven starts on record with no wins or podiums; his most recent Super GT appearance was in 2025.[1]

His most recent competitive activity in WEC came in 2018, where he ran one podium finish in five rounds. Since then his racing has been limited to sparse Super GT appearances, most recently in 2025.
