Jongkyum Kim is a professional endurance driver racing in multiclass GT and sportscar championships at the Nürburgring and across Europe. FIA Silver graded, he competes for Hankook Competition, driving GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 Cup machinery in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, the 24H Series, and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. His career spans six seasons from 2020 to the present.[1]
Kim has taken six wins and seven podiums across 17 starts in indexed racing. The 24H Series has been his primary platform, where he has won five of those six victories and taken five podiums across seven entries in a multiclass field spanning amateur through Platinum-graded professionals. His single win in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie came in 2022; he has one further podium in that series from eight starts. He is currently active in the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, with one round raced so far.[2]
Against the graded professionals who form his regular opposition, Kim holds his own. He is closely matched with Frank Stippler, a Platinum-graded 2021 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion with 107 starts in that series, and typically finishes ahead of Christian Krognes, a Gold-graded established professional and 2012 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion with 86 starts in that series. He has finished ahead of Max Verstappen twice and Nirei Fukuzumi once in shared-car racing at the Nürburgring.
