Victor Carbone is a professional driver from São Paulo who raced single-seaters in North America between 2007 and 2014. He spent most of his career in Indy NXT, where he competed for Team Moore Racing and later Sam Schmidt Motorsports, a team that won the championship in both 2011 and 2012 during his tenure. He also made six starts in the GP3 Series in 2014 with Trident and contested the SKUSA SuperNationals across multiple seasons in kart racing.[1]
Over 25 starts in Indy NXT from 2011 to 2013, Carbone took one victory and four podium finishes. His best result came against established competition; he finished ahead of Josef Newgarden, the 2011 Indy NXT champion and future two-time IndyCar champion, twice in their meetings. He also beat Alex Lynn, the 2014 GP3 Series champion and a former FIA Formula 3 European competitor, in two races. His step up to the GP3 Series in 2014 yielded six starts with no results that placed him among the finishers recorded here.[2]
