Luca Riccitelli was a professional endurance driver who raced in the FIA GT Championship between 1997 and 2006, primarily for RWS Motorsport. Graded FIA Bronze, he competed in a field mixing amateurs and professionals across shared-driver GT machinery, the category sitting below the full-professional Silver grade in endurance racing's hierarchy.[1]
Riccitelli recorded 43 starts across five seasons, yielding a single podium finish. His most regular opponents were Mike Hezemans, a Silver-graded professional, and Christophe Bouchut, a two-time FIA GT champion; he remained closely matched with Hezemans but typically finished behind Bouchut. He finished ahead of Alessandro Nannini, a 77-time Formula 1 driver, once, and beat Max Angelelli, an established professional graded FIA Gold, once as well. His championship finish in 2006 placed him 26th in the standings across nine rounds.[2]
