Robert Wheldon is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass championships where amateurs and professionals share the grid. He races LMP3 prototypes for United Autosports in the European Le Mans Series and previously drove a GT4 car in the British GT Championship. He holds an FIA Silver grading, placing him among drivers on the way up in sportscar racing rather than fully established professionals.[1]

Wheldon's indexed record spans two seasons from 2020 to 2021, with seven starts across two series. He won his sole race in the British GT Championship in 2020, taking victory in the GT4 class. His primary campaign came in the 2021 European Le Mans Series, where he took four podiums across six rounds and finished third in the championship standings in the LMP3 class for United Autosports, a team fielding a roster of 83 drivers and holding 38 race wins across the index.[2]
