Michael Meadows is a retired British racing driver who competed in GT and endurance racing at professional level, holding an FIA Gold categorisation. His recorded career spans a single season in 2019, when he made two starts in GT World Challenge Europe for Mercedes-AMG Team Akka ASP, finishing 113th overall without recording a podium finish. Despite the limited data from his professional racing record, his background includes significant success in domestic and international sportscar racing; he was twice champion in Porsche Carrera Cup GB and won the 2016 Dubai 24 Hour and 2018 Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup.[1]
In his two GT World Challenge Europe rounds, Meadows finished ahead of several established professionals, including the Platinum-graded former champion Mirko Bortolotti, the FIA Gold-graded Christian Engelhart, and the two-time champion Matt McMurry. While these results represent single outings rather than a sustained pattern, they reflect competitive performances against drivers of considerably higher Elo rating in a strong professional field. His average finishing position of 38th across classified starts indicates occasional competitiveness within the grid.[2]
Meadows retired from active racing in 2020 and has since moved into team management. He currently serves as team manager for Argenti Motorsport's Formula 4 programme, where he oversees the outfit's operations within the FIA British F4 Championship and its recent expansion into GB3 competition in partnership with Prema Racing.
