Mirko Bortolotti is an Italian racing driver from Trento whose career began with success in single-seaters, capturing the Italian Formula 3 Championship in 2008 and the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2011. He later transitioned into sports car and touring car racing, winning the Eurocup Megane Trophy in 2013 and building a long association with Lamborghini as a factory driver from 2016. During that tenure he claimed the Blancpain GT Series Endurance and Overall Championship in 2017, before a brief spell with Audi in 2020 and a return to Lamborghini in 2021. His touring car record includes a DTM title with GRT Grasser Racing Team's Lamborghini in 2024, and he added a landmark victory at the 2025 Spa 24 Hours, the marque's first outright win at that event. Since 2024 he has also competed for Iron Lynx in the World Endurance Championship, driving the Lamborghini SC63 prototype.[1]
In IMSA WeatherTech competition, Bortolotti now drives for Pfaff Motorsports, where Racer DB credits him with 19 career starts, one win and three podium finishes, and no championships to date. His current Racer Rating stands at 5,645, placing him 196th among active drivers on a scale where the sport's elite typically sit between 10,000 and 11,500. In the 2026 season he has yet to reach the podium through seven rounds, sitting 37th in the standings, a status that reflects a challenging start relative to his broader multi-discipline resume. He remains an active competitor, continuing to balance his prototype commitments with GT and touring car ventures built over more than a decade of international racing.[2]
