Brian Frisselle is an established professional who raced single-seater and multiclass endurance machinery in national championships across two decades. He competed primarily in the Star Mazda Championship, a single-class national series, and later in IMSA WeatherTech, a multiclass endurance championship that mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professionals on the same grid. His career on record spans from 2004 to 2014.[1]

In the Star Mazda Championship, Frisselle made seven starts in 2004 for G&W Motorsports and finished 12th in the championship standings with one podium. A decade later, he added four starts in IMSA WeatherTech endurance racing for Action Express Racing, taking another podium. Across his indexed career, he completed 11 starts and scored two podiums.[2]

The Star Mazda grid in his era included Rafa Matos, who would go on to win the championship the following year, and Michael McDowell, the 2004 Star Mazda champion. Frisselle ran closely matched to Matos but typically finished behind McDowell. He shared races with drivers of far greater subsequent standing; he finished ahead of Kyle Larson and Brendon Hartley once each, though both would establish themselves at the elite level, Larson winning back-to-back NASCAR Cup Series titles and Hartley winning the World Endurance Championship.
