Sarah Fisher is an American retired professional race car driver who competed in the IndyCar Series between 2006 and 2010. During this period, she made 35 starts but did not achieve any wins or podium finishes. Her career in the series concluded with seven rounds of competition in 2010, finishing 30th in the final standings. Fisher was the first female driver to secure a pole position in a major American open-wheel racing competition and competed in the Indianapolis 500 nine times, representing the most appearances by a female driver in that event. A career-best finish of second place at the 2001 Infiniti Grand Prix of Miami marked her highest result in IndyCar competition.[1]

Following her retirement from professional racing, Fisher remained active within the motorsport community. She has been involved in racing operations and team management, with her racing company undergoing rebranding efforts in subsequent years.
