Jamie Bach was a professional single-seater driver who raced in the Star Mazda Championship, a national open-wheel series mixing amateur and professional entrants. He competed for B-K Motorsports across three seasons from 2002 to 2004, starting 20 races and finishing 11th in the final championship standings in 2004.[1]
Bach took three podiums across his career. He regularly outpaced entry-level professionals John Faulkner and Jon Brownson, both of whom had substantially longer runs in Star Mazda; he also beat Michael McDowell three times, who would go on to become the 2004 Star Mazda champion and established himself in NASCAR at the Cup level, as well as beating IMSA WeatherTech regular Jonathan Bomarito once.[2]
