Cole Loftsgard is an entry-level professional who competes in solo, single-driver national multiclass championships in the United States. He currently drives for Round 3 Racing in the DH class of the Mustang Challenge, campaigning a Ford Mustang Dark Horse R.[1]
Loftsgard's indexed record begins in 2020 with NASA's Super Touring 2 class, where three starts for Ford Boss 302S brought three podiums and a fifth-place finish in the championship standings. He moved to the ProAm class of Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA in 2023, taking one podium from eight starts for Precision Performance Motorsports. He returned to competition in 2026 with Round 3 Racing in the DH class of the Mustang Challenge; from eight starts so far this season he has taken six wins and seven podiums and currently leads the points standings, a stretch that included a weekend sweep at Watkins Glen.[2]
Super Trofeo ProAm put him against Keawn Tandon, an entry-level professional and FIA Silver-graded champion of that class in 2023, whom Loftsgard usually finishes behind, and against Shehan Chandrasoma, an entry-level professional and 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA Am champion, with whom he has been closely matched. Across his career he has also finished ahead of Alexandre Premat, an FIA Gold-graded driver with starts in GP2 and the Formula 3 Euro Series, and of Nikko Reger, the 2018 Mazda MX-5 Cup ND1 champion. His main team through 2023, Precision Performance Motorsports, has also fielded Parker Kligerman, an established professional.
