Cole Loftsgard is an entry-level professional racing solo, single-class sprint events in the United States. He drives the Ford Mustang Dark Horse R in the DH class of Mustang Challenge for Round 3 Racing, the strongest of fourteen drivers that team has fielded, and he has also raced the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo in the ProAm class of Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA, a multiclass endurance championship that mixes amateurs and graded professionals on the same track.[1]
Loftsgard won the 2026 Mustang Challenge championship with Round 3 Racing, a season built on seven wins and eleven podiums from twelve starts in the DH class; the team itself also took the entrants' title that year. Before that, he ran eight starts in Super Trofeo NA ProAm for Precision Performance Motorsports, taking a single podium, and in his most recent NASA campaign, driving a Ford Boss 302S in Super Touring 2, he podiumed in all three starts and finished fifth in the championship standings.[2]
His regular Mustang Challenge opposition includes Devin Anderson and Sandy Satullo, both entry-level professionals with extensive series mileage, Satullo carrying an FIA Silver grading; Loftsgard typically finishes ahead of both. In Super Trofeo NA he has twice beaten Nikko Reger, an FIA Silver-graded driver and 2018 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup champion, and twice finished ahead of Alexandre Premat, an FIA Gold-graded driver with a background in GP2 Series and Formula 3 Euro Series.
