Ryan Justice is a professional driver with a Racer Rating of 4,119, placing him at the professional level; this means he was a sharp competitor in a strong feeder series, capable of beating semi-professionals comfortably and winning races in national-championship-calibre fields. Justice raced in the Star Mazda Championship from 2002 to 2007, accumulating 44 starts across six seasons with two wins and four podiums, primarily for Northwest Autosport. His average finishing position of P14.9 reflects consistent competitiveness within a field that included several drivers who went on to much stronger careers.[1]

Justice's record against his most frequent rivals shows him as a clear frontrunner. He finished ahead of John Faulkner, a professional-level competitor, in 32 of 43 shared races; he also held winning records against Dan Tomlin Jr., Jon Brownson, and Brian Thienes across dozens of encounters. More notably, Justice occasionally finished ahead of drivers of considerably higher calibre: he beat Michael McDowell twice, a driver rated as elite professional and champion of the 2004 Star Mazda Championship; he also recorded four results ahead of Graham Rahal, another elite-level professional; and he beat Dane Cameron and Ricky Taylor, both of whom became sportscar champions at the highest levels, in isolated instances. These individual results against champions show Justice capable of mixing with the top tier on occasion, though his rating and podium count reflect that these were exceptional performances rather than sustained competition at that level.[2]

Justice's career ended in 2007 after six seasons, with his final appearance a P30 finish in a single round that year.
