Sean McAlister is a professional driver competing in American national-level multiclass endurance and sprint racing. He races the GS class in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, a shared-driver endurance championship where his car competes alongside faster and slower classes on the same track, and the Pro class in the single-driver Porsche Carrera Cup NA. He is FIA Silver graded, which places him below the full professional Gold and Platinum ranks in endurance racing. His primary ride is with CarBahn with Peregrine racing in the IMSA series, where he has completed the bulk of his racing record.[1]
McAlister has 63 starts across six seasons from 2021 to 2026, with three wins and seven podiums. His wins and most of his podium finishes have come in the Pilot Challenge, where he has driven for CarBahn with Peregrine since 2022. His earlier racing came in the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup NA season, where he took 15 starts and finished ninth in the Pro class championship standings.
