🇫🇷 Matthieu Lahaye

Matthieu Lahaye is a professional endurance racing driver competing in multiclass prototype championships. He races for Ultimate, the team he co-runs with his brother, in the LMP2 and LMP3 classes of the European Le Mans Series and the LMP2 class of the WEC. His career spans from 2007 to the present, with the bulk of his racing concentrated in shared-car prototype endurance events alongside amateur and semi-professional competitors.[1]

Lahaye has made 38 starts across three series since 2007, taking one win in the WEC and nine podiums overall. His single victory came in WEC; his other eight podium finishes split between five in the WEC across eleven seasons and four in the European Le Mans Series since 2021. His most recent WEC season in 2022 yielded a mid-field championship position of 18th. The European Le Mans Series has been his primary focus since 2021, producing the majority of his recent activity and accounting for 22 of his last 38 starts.[2]

Lahaye holds his own against the regular professionals in his field. He is closely matched with established professional Michael Jensen, FIA Bronze-graded, who won the 2025 Asian Le Mans Series and has 27 starts in the European Le Mans Series; he is similarly matched with Nick Adcock, an entry-level professional with 27 starts in the same series. In one-off meetings, he has beaten Nico Müller, an established professional graded Platinum with 81 DTM starts, and Brendon Hartley, an established professional Platinum-graded who took the 2016 WEC LMP1 title and the 2023 WEC Hypercar championship with 88 WEC starts and 25 in Formula 1.
