🇬🇧 Oliver Webb

Oliver Webb is an entry-level professional driver racing in multiclass endurance championships and single-seater series. Graded FIA Gold, he competes primarily in shared-car racing; his current activity is in the McLaren Trophy America, a single-class championship where he races for Greystone GT, and the British GT Championship, where he shares GT3 machinery in the same team's colours. Across 18 seasons from 2009 to 2026, he has started 108 times.[1]

Webb's record spans the full range of junior and professional categories. He began in single-seater racing with Formula Renault Eurocup and progressed through Formula V8 3.5, where he took 33 starts for Pons Racing between 2011 and 2014, and Indy NXT, recording a podium in 14 starts for Sam Schmidt Motorsports during the same period. His career has centred on endurance racing, particularly the World Endurance Championship, where 34 starts for ARC Bratislava across 2014 to 2021 yielded two podiums. He has also raced the 24H Series and the British GT Championship, mixing amateur and semi-professional grids with occasional graded professionals. His sole outright win came in the 24H Series; in the McLaren Trophy America this season he has taken two wins and six podiums from six starts so far.[2]

Webb has shared grids regularly with stronger drivers. Against Mikhail Aleshin, an established professional with 87 Formula V8 3.5 starts and an IndyCar career, the two were closely matched. He has also finished ahead of Carlos Sainz, the 2014 Formula V8 3.5 champion and a former Formula 1 driver, on four occasions during their overlapping single-seater campaigns, and once ahead of Mark Webber, the 2016 WEC LMP1 champion. His most frequent opponent in the WEC was Brendon Hartley, a three-time world champion at Platinum grade; Webb typically finished behind him.
