Ryan Vargas is an entry-level professional competing part-time in American stock car racing. He races primarily on oval tracks across the ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Truck Series. His primary team is Maples Motorsports, where he drives the No. 34/91 Chevrolet and Ford in ARCA competition.[1]

Vargas has 96 starts across eight seasons from 2019 to 2026. His heaviest activity has been in NASCAR Xfinity, where he started 71 times and competed mainly on ovals; he has also raced in the ARCA Menards Series and its regional variants since 2025, along with limited NASCAR Truck starts in 2023. His most recent activity was four rounds of NASCAR Xfinity in 2024, where he finished 41st in the championship standings.[2]

Vargas races in fields that mix amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. His regular opponents include established professionals such as Justin Allgaier, a 2018 NASCAR Xfinity champion with over 500 Xfinity starts, and Brandon Jones, a three-series regular who has raced more than 400 times across those series; he typically finishes behind both. He has finished ahead of Ty Gibbs, a two-time ARCA Menards champion and elite professional, four times across their meetings, and has beaten Chase Briscoe, a 2016 ARCA champion, twice.
