🇺🇸 David Stremme

David Stremme was an established professional racing in the NASCAR Xfinity series, competing at that level for seven seasons between 2003 and 2011. He raced almost entirely on oval circuits, the series' primary format, for ML Motorsports as his primary ride and also for FitzBradshaw Racing. His career totalled 146 starts and 11 podiums across that span.[1]

Stremme spent his career competing against professional-level rivals who formed the regular grid at that tier. He was closely matched with Jason Keller and Mike Wallace, both professionals with significantly more starts in the series than his own. He finished ahead of drivers who went on to elite professional careers in NASCAR's national series; he scored podiums against Denny Hamlin, who raced 164 Xfinity starts across a long Cup Series career, and defeated Joey Logano, who won three Cup Series championships, four times across their meetings in Xfinity and Truck competition. The strength of these opponents at the level he competed in underscores that Stremme held his own against the grid's upper tier, though the relative frequency of his podiums across 146 starts shows he ran mid-field to upper-mid-field among Xfinity's regulars. His last indexed season was 2011, finishing 34th in the championship standings.[2]
