Seunghyun Chung is a club-level driver who raced in BMW CCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship mixing amateur and professional entrants in shared track time. Chung competed in the JS class, driving BMWs in solo sprint racing across six starts in 2004 and 2005 before retiring from the series.[1]
Across his two seasons, Chung took one win and three podium finishes, finishing 12th in the 2005 championship standings. He was closely matched against Brett Strom, an entry-level professional and later 2009 BMW CCA Club Racing champion, and typically ran behind William Koneval, a club-level regular in the same class. Chung finished ahead of Strom once and beat Tom Miller, the 2005 BMW CCA Club Racing CM champion, in at least one meeting.[2]
