🏳️ Spencer Bogar

Spencer Bogar is a club-level racer competing in national solo sprint racing across SCCA championships in the United States. He races spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in the SM and SM2 classes and small-bore tuner cars in the STL class, competing in SCCA Regionals, SCCA Majors, and the SCCA Runoffs.[1]

Over five seasons from 2021 to 2025, Bogar has taken four wins and thirteen podiums from thirty-one starts. His most productive period came in SCCA Regionals, where he has raced since 2022 and posted three wins and eleven podiums across twenty starts. In SCCA Majors he took one win and two podiums from nine starts between 2021 and 2023. He has also made one start in American Endurance Racing, sharing a Class 1 production car in a multiclass endurance event.[2]

Bogar typically races against Christian Sarnecki, a semi-professional driver and two-time SCCA Regionals champion with extensive experience in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, and usually finishes behind him. He regularly beats Justin Auger, another club-level regular in the same series. He has twice finished ahead of Francis Selldorff, an FIA Silver professional with thirty-five starts in IMSA series and national championships, and once ahead of Ethan Goulart, an entry-level professional with experience in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup and national SCCA Majors fields.
