Stephen Ayers competed in BMW CCA Club Racing from 2005 to 2007, accumulating 23 starts across three seasons. His single victory came during this period, alongside five podium finishes. He averaged a fourth-place finish across all classified results, competing primarily in club-level racing that drew semi-professional and competitive amateur drivers.[1]

Ayers's most extensive head-to-head record was against Davis Rieman Jr, the 2006 BMW CCA Club Racing IP champion, though he finished behind Rieman in nine of their thirteen shared races. He held a more favourable record against Jacques Rimokh and David White, a two-time BMW CCA Club Racing JP champion; he beat White once in six races. His record against stronger drivers such as Randy Mueller, an FIA Bronze-graded professional and 2012 NASA GTSU champion, showed five wins in seven meetings, representing his most competitive showings. His career rating of 859 places him at the developing end of club racing, reflecting limited success against a field of competitive amateurs and occasional semi-professionals.

Ayers's most recent activity came in 2007, when he completed four rounds of BMW CCA Club Racing without a podium finish, ending his career with a sixteenth-place classified result. He has not raced since.
