🇺🇸 Stephen CHEN

Stephen Chen competes at club level, a competitive amateur who races in organized championships against semi-professional and amateur drivers. His rating of 2,802 places him in that competitive amateur band; he is a real racing driver with legitimate results in a genuine series, but lacks the pace or consistency to move into semi-professional ranks. Chen has completed two seasons in Ferrari Challenge between 2024 and 2025, taking seven starts and three podiums without a win. His average finish of P6.6 across classified races describes a mid-field competitor; however, his recent form shows deterioration, with no podiums in the current 2025 season and a P36 finish in the two most recent rounds.[1]

Against his regular rivals, Chen has compiled a losing record that reflects his mid-grid standing. He has run ahead of Brad Evans in 3 of 7 meetings and beaten Henry Hummel on three occasions; these are drivers of comparable or lower rating. Against the stronger professionals in his field, he trails consistently. He finished ahead of Gary Ott once in six races, beaten Matt Dalton twice in five races, and has managed single wins over FIA Bronze-graded drivers Mitchell Green and Matt Dalton, but these isolated results do not establish a pattern of competitive superiority. His team, Ferrari of Houston, has fielded five drivers across the index with a single race win to its name; Chen is among the weaker performers the team has run, well behind its strongest driver Michael Quattlebaum.
