🇺🇸 Steve Yarborough

Steve Yarborough is a developing amateur racer competing in SVRA, a multiclass national championship. He races across the Group 1, Group 2 and Group 6 classes, driving solo in his third season of indexed racing.[1]

Yarborough has taken six wins and seventeen podiums across sixty-five starts since 2024. In the current 2026 season, which remains in progress, he leads the championship standings with four wins and twelve podiums from thirty-six rounds raced so far.[2]

He races regularly against a field that includes developing and club-level competitors. Against Steve Smith, a developing driver with substantial experience across SVRA and European circuits, Yarborough usually finishes ahead. He and club racer Scott Shadel are closely matched. Yarborough has also finished ahead of semi-professional drivers Bryan Scheible and Edward Sevadjian, both of whom have raced Trans-Am TA2.
