Danny Lowry is a club-level driver racing in national championships across the United States. He competes primarily in Trans-Am, where he drives a tube-frame V8 silhouette car, and races multiclass competition in SCCA Majors, SVRA, and PCA Club Racing, piloting Porsches and silhouette GT machinery. His most recent activity is in Trans-Am, where he currently sits fourth in the championship standings after two rounds of the 2025 season.[1]
Lowry has won 10 races across his career, all in Trans-Am, where he took the championship in both 2022 and 2023. His record there spans 20 starts and 19 podiums, making Trans-Am his dominant series; he has competed in it consistently from 2022 to the present. Beyond Trans-Am, his results are modest: a single podium across 16 SVRA starts, two podium finishes in four SCCA Majors starts, and eight club-level starts in PCA Club Racing. In Trans-Am TA2, a single-class field of amateur and semi-professional entrants, he made three starts in 2022.[2]
Lowry regularly races against Ricky Sanders, a semi-professional with experience across Trans-Am and TA2, and finishes closely matched with him. He typically finishes behind Rick Stafford, a club driver and two-time PCA Club Racing GTC6 champion with 48 starts in that series. In Trans-Am, he has finished ahead of Connor Mosack, a professional with 43 NASCAR Truck starts and 34 NASCAR Xfinity starts, and once ahead of Connor Zilisch, an established professional and FIA Gold driver who has competed in NASCAR Xfinity and the NASCAR Cup Series.
