🇺🇸 Ken Williams

Ken Williams is a club-level driver racing in national solo sprint championships in the United States. He competes in SCCA Regionals and Majors in spec Miata classes, driving 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas in the SM class and small-bore tuner cars in STL, and also runs NASA's Spec Miata class. He has been active since 2015.[1]

Across seven seasons and 84 starts, Williams has taken one podium finish, all in SCCA Regionals. His record spans NASA, where he has made 15 starts in Spec Miata, SCCA Majors with 27 starts, and SCCA Regionals with 42 starts since 2022. He is currently competing in the 2026 SCCA Regionals season, where he sits 74th in the championship standings after the opening round.[2]

Williams typically finishes mid-pack in a field that includes entry-level professionals and semi-professionals. He regularly races against Marc Cefalo, a semi-professional with substantial experience across all three series, and usually finishes behind him. He has beaten Nicole Cooper-Cefalo, a developing driver, on most occasions they meet. He has also finished ahead of Reinhold Krahn, an entry-level professional with FIA Bronze grading, twice, and once ahead of Ethan Goulart, the 2024 SCCA Runoffs SM champion.
