🏳️ David Ciufo

David Ciufo races competitively in national American single-seater multiclass championships. He competes in SCCA Regionals and Majors, driving spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in SM and related classes, and has made occasional starts in NASA's Spec Miata series. His career spans six seasons from 2021 onwards, and he remains active in 2026.[1]

Across 49 starts in SCCA Regionals and Majors and a handful of NASA outings, Ciufo has taken four podiums, all in SCCA Regionals. His 2026 SCCA Regionals campaign is still developing; he has run four rounds so far and stands 48th in the championship standings with one podium to date.[2]

Ciufo races in a competitive amateur field that regularly includes much more experienced drivers. He finishes typically behind established regulars such as Nick Leverone, who has over 200 indexed starts across SCCA series, and Chris Ciufo. He has occasionally beaten drivers of substantially higher standing, including Jake Walker, a Silver-graded professional with credentials in IMSA sportscar racing, and Frankie Barroso, an entry-level professional with two decades of SCCA Majors and Regionals racing.
