Todd Lamb is an entry-level professional racing in national amateur-and-professional multiclass series, primarily in club and production-car racing. He races a Mazda MX-5 Miata in spec classes and a Porsche in PCA Club Racing, alongside occasional outings in a Honda Civic TCR for Atlanta Speedwerks, the team he has raced with for 42 of his 75 starts. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification in endurance racing.[1]
His career spans ten seasons from 2008 to 2022. He found his strongest results in PCA Club Racing, where he won nine times in 21 starts and finished on the podium in 13 of them. In the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, a single-make series, he scored two wins from 28 starts across four seasons. His IMSA Pilot Challenge campaign, racing a TCR touring car in the multiclass Michelin Pilot Challenge from 2019 to 2021, yielded one win in 14 starts; that victory came at Watkins Glen in 2021 driving alongside Ryan Eversley.[2]
Lamb typically races against entry-level professionals and semi-professional drivers in his own series. He has usually finished ahead of Luke Oxner, a PCA Club Racing champion with extensive experience in that series, and runs closely matched with Robert Stout, another entry-level professional. In isolated outings he has beaten established professionals: Eric Curran, an FIA Gold driver who races IMSA WeatherTech, and Yuui Tsutsumi, a Super GT and Super Formula Lights competitor. These remain single meetings against drivers who operate at a higher level.
