Thomas Stone competed in the SCCA Majors during 2021, completing six rounds without recording a win or podium finish. His average finishing position across those races was 14th, placing him in a field of semi-professional competitors drawn from the national club racing level. Stone faced a consistent disadvantage against his regular rivals; he finished behind the 2022 SCCA Majors SRF3 champion Caleb Shrader in all six shared races and behind Paul Marino in all six encounters. His only competitive head-to-head records came against drivers at the lower end of the field, splitting results evenly with Lee Douglas and Tom Miserendino across six races each, and beating John Black once in six starts. Stone's single strong result came when he finished ahead of FIA Silver graded Colin Queen on one occasion.[1]

Stone's rating of 866 places him in the developing category, the entry level of competitive racing. His six-race sample against a semi-professional field produced no podiums and positioned him consistently midfield, unable to maintain pace with established drivers in that series. His career on record remained at that level for a single season before his retirement from racing.[2]
