Thomas Surgent is a retired Bronze-graded amateur endurance and club racing driver. He raced Porsches in PCA Club Racing, where he competed most regularly across seven starts between 2015 and 2021, and also drove BMWs in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA multiclass championships. His sole endurance entry came in 2024 in the GT3 class of the 24H Series for Race Lab.[1]
Surgent's racing spanned thirteen years on record but consisted of only fourteen starts across four series. His most substantial campaign came in PCA Club Racing, where he finished 50th in the championship standings in 2021 after three rounds. In earlier years he made occasional appearances in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA, racing German cars in their respective multiclass fields. His sole multiclass endurance race was a single start in the 24H Series in 2024.[2]
He raced regularly against Michael Hemingway, a developing driver, and Livio Galanti, the 2022 PCA Club Racing SPB champion, finishing closely matched with both. His record includes victories over professionals graded Silver by the FIA; he beat Jordan Love, who has raced in GT World Challenge Europe, the Asian Le Mans Series and Porsche Supercup, and Peter Kox, an FIA GT Championship veteran.
