🇬🇧 Tim Carroll

Tim Carroll is an entry-level professional racing in a national single-class championship and a national multiclass championship in the United States. He drives a TA2 tube-frame V8 silhouette car in Trans-Am TA2, where he has competed since 2020, and races a tube-frame silhouette GT car in the GT2 class of SCCA events. His current campaign in Trans-Am TA2 is underway, with three rounds completed so far; he sits 25th in the championship standings.[1]

Carroll has taken three wins across his indexed career: two in SCCA Majors competition and one in SCCA Regionals. His 11 starts span six seasons from 2020 to 2026, the bulk concentrated in Trans-Am TA2, where he has logged eight starts since 2020. He has raced consistently against a field mixing amateur, semi-professional and graded professional competitors.[2]

In regular opposition, Carroll usually finishes behind Adrian Wlostowski, a NASA Super Touring 2 champion with more than 60 Trans-Am TA2 starts, and runs closely with fellow entry-level professional Eric Cayton. He has on occasion finished ahead of established professionals including Connor Zilisch, the 2024 ARCA Menards East champion and multiple-time NASCAR series competitor, and Corey Day, a driver with substantial NASCAR Xfinity and ARCA experience.
