Tom Buskey is a developing amateur racer who competes in solo single-seater sprint racing at the national level. He races the SM class, which runs spec 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas, in SCCA multiclass championships; his career spans two seasons from 2023 to 2024 across SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors, the latter a series that mixes amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals in the same race.[1]
Buskey has six starts across both series. In his first indexed season, 2023 SCCA Regionals, he took four starts and finished 99th in the championship standings. He added two starts in SCCA Majors in 2024 before retiring from the sport.[2]
