🇺🇸 Tristan Herbert

Tristan Herbert is a semi-professional racing driver competing in national American motorsport. Graded FIA Bronze, he races across multiple series spanning solo sprint racing and shared-car endurance competition; his machinery ranges from near-stock economy hatchbacks in SCCA B-Spec to LMP3 prototypes and TCR touring cars. His most regular work is in SCCA Regionals, where he races for various entrants.[1]

Herbert has made 31 starts across nine seasons from 2011 to 2026, taking five wins and ten podiums. His wins have come entirely in SCCA Regionals, where he has competed steadily since 2022 with five victories in eighteen starts. His earlier racing included two podiums in NASA competition driving German touring cars between 2011 and 2014, and brief campaigns in IMSA's shared-car TCR and prototype classes in 2021 and 2022, including two starts for Andretti Autosport in IMSA Prototype Challenge. In his current 2026 SCCA Regionals campaign, still in progress across three rounds, he has taken one win and two podiums and sits eighth in the championship standings.[2]

His regular opposition in SCCA Regionals includes the 2022 SCCA Regionals champion Richard Hromin, whom Herbert typically finishes behind, and the developing driver Ryan Moran, whom he regularly beats. His wins have come against a field of amateurs and semi-professionals; he has finished ahead of Dan Goldburg, a professional IMSA Prototype Challenge and WeatherTech regular, and Rasmus Lindh, a Silver-graded professional who has raced Indy NXT.
