🏳️ Deacon Greenfield

Deacon Greenfield is a semi-professional, rated 2,378, racing production-based and spec sports cars in American multiclass club championships where up to 25 classes, from amateurs to graded professionals, share the same race. His program spans SCCA Majors, where he runs the SM and SMX classes in spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas, and SCCA Regionals, where he competes in the ITA and ITS classes, built around production-based cars with limited modification, as well as the FE2 class. He has also taken the STL class, for small-bore production-based tuner cars of two liters and under, to the SCCA Runoffs.[1]

Greenfield's record runs five seasons, from 2022 to 2026, and is built mainly in SCCA Regionals, where he has taken eleven wins and twenty-eight podiums across a much larger body of starts there. His SCCA Majors program adds a handful of starts across the SM, SMX and STL classes, and his most recent event on record is a single start at the 2025 SCCA Runoffs in STL.[2]

His regular company in SCCA Regionals STL includes Theodore Cahall, a club-level driver who won that class in both 2023 and 2025, against whom Greenfield usually finishes behind, and Robert Cahall, another frequent rival he typically finishes ahead of. Against stronger opposition he has fewer meetings but has finished ahead of Nate Cicero, a professional and FIA Silver-graded driver with starts in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin and IMSA Pilot Challenge, and of Camden Gruber, an entry-level professional and 2021 NASA Spec Miata champion, in one meeting each.
