🏳️ Hajo Müller

Hajo Müller was a semi-professional racing driver who competed in multiclass endurance racing at the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2017. He drove near-standard production cars in the V4 and V5 classes for various teams, most regularly for Car #450, which he shared with co-drivers over 21 of his 27 starts in the series.[1]

Müller won the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2015 and 2016, both times driving Car #450. Across eight seasons of racing in this championship, he accumulated 10 wins and 18 podium finishes from 27 starts. His final season in 2017 saw him take one win and four podiums from four rounds, finishing fifth in the championship standings. He was a regular competitor against Andreas Schettler and Christian Büllesbach, both competitive amateurs with extensive Nürburgring endurance racing experience, and proved closely matched with each of them.[2]

Müller's record included victories over drivers of considerably higher calibre. He beat Edoardo Mortara, a Formula 3 Euro Series champion and elite professional who went on to contest Formula E and DTM, on two occasions. He also defeated Earl Bamber, an established professional with a 2019 IMSA WeatherTech GTLM championship and extensive international endurance racing experience including 11 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts, once during his career.
