🏳️ Troy Kamisky

Troy Kamisky was a club-level racer; his rating of 1,288 places him in the developing band, describing a driver who raced consistently but typically finished in the middle of their fields rather than the sharp end. Over six seasons from 2003 to 2008, Kamisky made 45 starts in NASA competition, winning five races and finishing on the podium nineteen times. His average finishing position across all races was 6.2, and his most recent season, 2008, showed him at his strongest; he won once and took six podiums in six rounds to finish second in the final standings.[1]

The quality of Kamisky's competition was mixed. He raced regularly against Brian Kamisky, the 2008 NASA Legends Semi-Pro champion, losing that head-to-head battle 19 races to 13. Against Martin McKeefery, the 2005 NASA Legends Semi-Pro champion, the record ran 12 to 6 in McKeefery's favour. Kamisky also ran behind Phil Joy, who held the 2008 NASA Legends Masters title, across thirteen races without a single win in that pairing. However, he dominated Desiree Robinson across 26 shared races, winning 20 of them and finishing ahead on most occasions. He also beat Ryan Raduechel seven times, a driver who would go on to win championships in other NASA series. In 2004, Kamisky won the NASA Legends Semi-Pro championship, his sole title. He raced for team 112743 in eight of his starts. Kamisky is now retired from racing.
