Spencer Moritz Gallagher is an American stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The son of Allegiant Air chief executive Maurice J. Gallagher Jr., he came up through NASCAR's developmental ranks before establishing himself in the Xfinity Series, and he later stepped away from full-time competition to take on a managerial role with GMS Racing. Beyond his time in NASCAR's national touring divisions, Gallagher also competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and its East and West regional counterparts, driving for teams including Sigma Performance Services and Clark Racing.[1]
Across 21 Xfinity Series starts, Gallagher recorded one career win and one podium finish, without a series championship to his name. His Racer Rating of 4,020 places him at 533rd among active drivers on a scale where the sport's elite competitors rank between roughly 10,000 and 11,500, reflecting a career built on limited-schedule appearances rather than sustained full-time success. In his most recent season on record, he produced one win and one podium across 19 rounds, finishing sixth in the standings, a result that stands as a notable highlight of his Xfinity Series career. Gallagher's status is now listed as retired, closing out a career defined by that single Xfinity Series victory and his subsequent transition into a team management position within the GMS Racing organization.[2]
