Cole Custer is an American stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Multimatic Motorsports. The son of Joe Custer, he came up through NASCAR's national touring divisions and built his reputation with strong runs in the Xfinity Series, culminating in a championship there in 2023 before establishing himself at the Cup level. Over the course of his career he has accumulated 15 wins, 43 podiums, and 325 starts across NASCAR's top divisions, numbers that reflect a driver who has been a consistent frontrunner throughout his development.[1]
At present Custer holds a Racer Rating of 4,173, placing him 466th among active drivers on a scale where the world's elite sit between roughly 10,000 and 11,500. He has yet to win a championship in his career. Through four rounds of the 2026 season he has not recorded a win or a podium and sits 60th in the standings, a slow start that leaves him working to rebuild momentum as the season progresses. Custer remains an active competitor in the Cup Series, continuing to draw on his Xfinity title-winning experience as he looks to improve his current form.[2]
