William Vanjonack is a club-level driver, FIA Bronze graded, who raced BMWs in national multiclass sprint championships in the United States. He competed in BMW CCA Club Racing from 2011 to 2015, driving in the CM class, and made a brief appearance in NASA's GTS4 class in 2016 before retiring.[1]
Across 33 starts, Vanjonack took 13 wins and 20 podiums. He won the 2013 BMW CCA Club Racing championship, his sole title. In BMW CCA Club Racing he posted 11 wins and 17 podiums from 30 starts. His final season in NASA, 2016, saw him finish fifth in the championship standings with 2 wins and 3 podiums from 3 starts.[2]
Vanjonack raced regularly against Mark Lounsbury, a developing driver and multiple BMW CCA and NASA champion, with whom he was closely matched. He typically finished ahead of Shaun McKenzie, another established BMW CCA Club Racing regular with 86 starts in the series. Vanjonack's wins included occasions against Todd Brown, a semi-professional driver and three-time CM class champion, and against Harold Petit, a semi-professional who later raced in American Endurance Racing. His 2016 NASA season concluded with victory in the German Touring Series 4 Championship.
