Harold Petit is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in a multiclass field. He races for GTR 99 in the World Racing League, piloting a GT4-based car in the GTO class. His principal career has been in American Endurance Racing, where he has shared cars across three production-based classes since 2016, and he has also raced solo in BMW CCA Club Racing's national championship from 2010 to 2020.[1]
Petit won the 2017 American Endurance Racing championship and has taken 16 wins across his 42 starts in that series, finishing on the podium in 36 of those races. His record in BMW CCA Club Racing yielded 19 podiums from 40 starts over a decade of club-level competition. He currently leads his 2026 World Racing League entry with two races completed so far.[2]
In the endurance fields he races regularly, Petit typically finishes ahead of Paul Sparta, a semi-professional and two-time American Endurance Racing champion, though he runs behind Robert Chang, a competitive amateur regular in BMW CCA. He has beaten established professionals including Conor Daly, a 2010 Star Mazda champion with 133 IndyCar starts, and Kenton Koch, who won the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro and 2025 GT4 America Silver championships.
