🇺🇸 Eric Rockwell

Eric Rockwell is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance series. He races production-based cars in American Endurance Racing, IMSA Pilot Challenge and Zenith Racing Series, competing across shared-driver cars in fields mixing amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. His primary team is Rockwell Autosport Development.[1]

Rockwell's career spans eleven seasons from 2016 onward. He spent his first six years in American Endurance Racing, where he took 9 wins and 22 podiums across 36 starts in Classes 1, 2 and 3. He moved to IMSA Pilot Challenge in 2021, racing TCR touring cars for RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate; that series has proved less productive, yielding a single podium from 29 starts through 2025. In 2026 he switched to Zenith Racing Series with his own team, Rockwell Autosport Development, and sits third in the championship standings after four rounds with 2 wins and 3 podiums so far.[2]

In multiclass endurance fields, Rockwell typically finishes behind entry-level professionals Tim Lewis and Harry Gottsacker, the latter the 2023 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR champion. He has occasionally been ahead of established professionals; he finished ahead of Conor Daly, a former Star Mazda champion with 133 IndyCar starts, and Kenton Koch, the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro champion and 2025 GT4 America Silver champion, once each.
