Ciro Sobral is a Brazilian driver at the semi-professional level, with a Racer Rating of 2,945. This places him in the competitive amateur band; his single season of racing on record shows he is learning the sport against established competitors rather than dominating any field. Sobral contested three rounds of Italian F4 in 2024 with Jenzer Motorsport, a team that has fielded 126 drivers across its history and counted Yuki Tsunoda among them, yet finished consistently outside the points. His average finishing position was P24 across all classified starts.[1]
In head-to-head racing against the drivers he encountered most often, Sobral finished behind multiple established professionals in every encounter. He was outpaced by Freddie Slater, a two-time champion rated at elite professional level; by Kean Nakamura-Berta and Hiyu Yamakoshi, both professional-grade competitors; and by Rashid Al Dhaheri and Akshay Bohra, each solid professionals in their own right. His sole bright spots came in isolated instances: he beat professional-level driver Reno Francot once in three meetings and posted single finishes ahead of Alex Powell and Kai Daryanani. Against semi-professional Emanuele Olivieri he managed two better results, a marginal edge in an extremely limited sample.
Sobral is no longer active in racing as of the latest records. His career comprised only three race starts in Italian F4, all in 2024, with no wins or podium finishes to his name.
