Won Duchak is a semi-professional racing in national single-class Mazda MX-5 championships run by the SCCA. He competes in the SM class at the regional level, driving a spec 1990-2005 Miata, and has begun racing at the national Majors level in the SMX class with 2006-2015 machinery.[1]
Duchak has three starts across two seasons, beginning in 2025. His record at SCCA Regionals consists of two starts that placed him 83rd in the regional championship standings. He made his Majors debut in 2026 with a single start in SMX.[2]
His strongest finishes came against experienced opposition. He beat Michael Tosi, an entry-level professional with 37 regional starts and additional experience in GT4 America; he also finished ahead of Bobby Gossett, the 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup champion who has logged 40 Majors starts and 35 Regionals starts alongside his Whelen championship.
